Two-sided viewer designed by an astronomy teacher for ease in seeing and identifying element and molecular spectra from gas tubes. Contains an extra large viewing window and 16 reference spectra viewed and photographed using the same grating. Spectra included are Hydrogen, Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, Nitrogen, Oxygen, Chlorine, Iodine, Sodium, Mercury, Air, Water, and Carbon Dioxide. For improved identifications, a brightest line marker is on each spectrum and a measuring scale proportioned approximately to sine-theta is plotted. 5.75 x 8.5 inches (~14.5 x 21.5 cm).
